FAQ
What does Tape Delay do?
It hides spoilers for the game or show you are recording to see later. You make a list of words, then drag a button to your bookmarks bar or use the userscript. It hides matching posts until your viewing time.
Is my data uploaded?
No. Your lists stay in this browser (localStorage) and the blocking runs inside the page you visit. THATCHED keeps an anonymous count of page views and free uses, and anonymous error reports. Payment is handled by Stripe when you choose to pay.
What does it cost, and what is free?
You can add two season tools for free. The season pass is £4.00 once and adds every name for your team (all 32 NFL teams, the 20 clubs of the 2025-26 Premier League, plus Celtic and Rangers) and the always-on userscript.
Can I get a refund?
Digital goods: access starts straight away, so the 14-day cancellation right ends once you start using it. If something is broken, email business@thatched.ai.
Which browsers and devices work?
Any recent desktop browser can use the bookmark button. Phone apps cannot run it, so use the mute words list in each app instead.
Does it log in to my Bluesky or X account?
No. Tape Delay never asks for a login and never changes anything on your accounts. It only covers text on the page in front of you, and you can copy the mute words into each app yourself.
